Single greetings card featuring the illustration ‘Winchester From the Westgate’ 21 x 14.8 cm (A5). Printed on 300gsm stock. Cellophane wrapped with a matching envelope, blank inside.
View of the historic city of Winchester, created from an imagined viewpoint just beyond the remains of the Westgate at the top of the High Street. Colours were embellished and certain landmarks, such as the Cathedral on the right, were condensed and repositioned to fit within the composition. The original painting was created with acrylic and inks on canvas for a private commission.
