My name is Jonathan, I am a freelance artist and illustrator based in Winchester, UK. I make traditional brush and pen artwork with a strong visual style for a variety of heritage and travel projects. I also create original paintings for exhibitions and private commissions.

Jonathan gained a BA in Fine Art painting from Newcastle University and achieved a Masters at the Winchester School of Art before setting up as a freelance illustrator. Working under the name ‘Illustration by Jonathan’, he licences his work commercially. But I also continues to exhibit his original paintings in shows around the UK and internationally.
